Afourer, is a variety of mandarin orange prized for its sweet, juicy flavor and ease of eating. The fruit is small to medium in size, featuring a distinct oblate (flattened) shape and a thin, smooth rind that ranges from yellow-orange to vibrant red-orange, making it exceptionally easy to peel and segment. Inside, the flesh is tender, refreshing, and low in seeds—often nearly seedless—delivering a rich, balanced sweetness with minimal bitterness.
 
As a late-winter variety, it typically ripens from mid- to late season and is an excellent source of vitamins A and C. The producing tree is moderately vigorous and compact, suitable for home orchards or commercial groves.
